Visual Tracking - Baised Wheels - Other Methods

Beating the Casino

Roulette if played normally can will give the casino and edge of between 1.35% and 5.3% depending on what casino you play at. Obviously no one goes to the casino to lose and if you go to the casino and play the same way as everybody else over the long term you will end up losing. Fortunately when it comes to the game of roulette there are a couple of methods you can use to try and change the odds in your favour. They are not easy to implement but if you put in the hard work it is possible to win at roulette. The known methods available to you are as follow.

Visual Tracking

This method has been around probably for as long as roulette wheels have been in casinos. To successfully use this strategy to such a degree as to shift the odds in your favour is incredibly difficult and only those with the keenest of eyes will be able to master it.

Visual tracking is watching the ball as it spins round the outside of the roulette wheel and watching it position in relation to the wheelhead and as a result being able to sufficiently predict which section of the wheelhead the ball is likely to finish in order to be correct enough times so as the odds shift in your favour.

To have any chance of doing this you will need to encounter a wheel that meets several conditions. Firstly you want a wheel where the ball drops out of the outside track and falls towards the wheelhead at the same point with some regularity. Secondly you require a croupier who spins the wheelhead and ball at fairly similar speeds with each spin and the less the ball bounces around before landing in a ball pocket the better. To find all these things at one roulette table will be difficult but when you have then you can have a go at visual tracking.

When you have found such a wheel you need to situate yourself with as good a view of the wheel as possible. First of all you need to get a good sense of when the ball spinning round the outside is going to fall towards the wheelhead. As mentioned above you need a wheel where the ball usually drops from the same point. You need to be able to know within a few spins of when it is going to drop. For example when you are able to tell with a reasonable accuracy that the ball is going at such a speed around the outside that it will drop in four more rotations this is the first part of the method worked out.

Next you need to keep your eyes fixed on the “0” of the wheel as it spins around in the opposite direction to the ball. As the ball spins round the outside the “0” will cross with the ball at a particular point on the wheel. Depending on the differences in velocity of the ball and the wheelhead this point will change with each revolution unless they are both taking exactly the same time to make one complete revolution. You will be able to see this cross-over point moving with each revolution so by watching carefully you should be able to work out roughly where this crossover point will be in four rotations time.

Now that you have worked this out you can see that by looking intently you should be able to the work out with some degree of accuracy where the “0” will be when the ball finally falls from the outside.

The problem with this is that you can only predict to any useful accuracy within the last four or five spins of the ball dropping, because of this you will need someone else to place the bets for you.

You need to work out yourself a satisfactory way of betting as there is very little time to place a bet once you have given your partner the signal telling them where it will land. The best way is to only signal if you think it is going to land in a particular sector where your partner can lay a couple of bets very quickly so as to cover a few of the numbers in that particular sector.

The good thing about this method although it is very difficult is that you can stand by the roulette wheel for as long as you want practising it and no body will know. Guess the sector it will land in each time in your head and see if you are correct. If you can pick the correct quarter sector of the wheel that the ball lands at least 1 in every 3 goes then you should be able to shift the odds sufficiently in your favour to beat the casino.
