Come Bet

To place a come bet place your chips on the betting layout where it says "Come" this area is called the "come box". This bet can only be made after a point has been established.

Come Bet

Outcomes of a come bet initially after placing the bet.

1. If the shooter throws a 7 or 11 you have won the bet and you will be paid out at evens i.e. If you bet £10 the dealer will pay you an additional £10 in winnings.

2. If the shooter throws a 2,3 or 12 you have lost the bet and the dealer will take your chips.

3. If the shooter throws a 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 your bet is moved to the relevant place bet box depending on which number has been thrown.

Outcome of the come bet after a 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 has been thrown.

Lets say for example a 6 had been thrown after you had placed your bet in the "come box" and your bet had been shifted to the place bet box for the number 6.

1. If the shooter now throws a 7 you have lost the bet and the dealer will take your chips from the place bet box.

2. If the shooter now throws a 6 you have won the bet and you will be paid out at evens.

3. If the shooter throws a 2,3,4,5,8,9,10,11 or 12 your bet will remain in the place bet box.

As you can see the come bet is essentially the same as a pass line bet it is just the timing of the bet that is different. You place it after a point has been established rather than on the "come out roll"
