Working out any betting strategy for craps you have to first look at the odds of all the different bets at the craps table and only bet those that have a small advantage in the casinos favour. This limit's the amount of ways to bet considerably. Here are some strategies for you to use.
Strategy 1
This is the most simple strategy possible and any first time craps player can follow it easily. If you do, the percentage advantage in the casinos favour will be 1.5% which is a lot better than betting at roulette and equally as simple. All you have to do is only Place Bet on 6 or 8.
This bet does not work on the "come out roll". Once the shooter has established a point just give your chips to the dealer and tell them that you want to make a Place Bet on the 6 or 8. Whichever you one you think will come up. If the number you have chosen is thrown before a seven, you win and you will be paid off at odds of 7/6. Make sure you bet an amount divisible by 6. A £6 bet would be fine. If you only make this one bet at the table you at least stand a chance of winning. This is not a very exciting way of betting but is a good way for anybody who is at the craps table for the first time. Once you have become accustomed to how the game of craps works you can then go on to the better but slightly more complicated strategies.
